Mike Barker


A Perinton native, Mike was elected Town Supervisor in November of 2013. Prior to that, he was Lead Social Studies teacher at Johanna Perrin Middle School and a teacher and wrestling coach in the Fairport Central School District for over twentyfive years. Mike’s twenty-six year history of elected office in our community includes eight years on the Fairport Village Board and four years on the Perinton Town Council. He also served nearly a decade in the Monroe County Legislature, with the last four as Vice- President. Mike is committed to being an accessible leader who will put his governmental experience to work keeping Perinton in its position of preeminence in Monroe County and throughout New York State.
